MG Motor has revamped the Astor line-up. Now, the Astor SUV come with different 05 variants “Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro”. The compnay has also reduced the prices of each variants, starting at Rs. 9.98 lakhs. It is about Rs. 83,000 cheaper than previous initial variant ‘Style’. However, company has also removed some features of these new variants or implemented lower qualitya poor quality things.

Perhaps, MG Motors take action according to competitive market and revamped its Astor variants and also changed its qualities and the prices. In previous Astor variants – ‘Style, Super, Select, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro’ have the turbo-petrol engine in 03 trims but in the new line-up, only top variant -Savvy Pro trim has tubo-petrol engine. Along with it, the new initial variant- ‘Sprint’ only comes wih naturally aspirated Petrol engine. These Major changes help to cut off prices so that product looks like more affordable.

MG Astor 2024: Features
The 2024 Astor comes with added features such as front ventilated seats, wireless charging, wireless support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an auto-dimming IRVM. The entry-level Astor Sprint also appears to be well-equipped, featuring LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, a dual-tone interior, soft-touch dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen. MG has further enhanced the i-Smart infotainment software with updated connected features.
MG Astor : Powertrain
Beneath the surface, the mechanical configuration remains unaltered. It houses a 110hp, 144Nm, 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a five-speed manual or an eight-step CVT automatic gearbox. The alternative engine is a 140hp, 220Nm, 1.3-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol, exclusively available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
