Mahindra XUV.e9 electric car details and features

Mahindra XUV.e9 electric car is expected to launch in April 2025. Prior to the launch, Mahindra has showcased some electric cars that are lined up for release.

The Indian Vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has partnered with Foreigner vehicle manufacturer company Volkswagen to produce electric vehicles. Together, They developed an INGLO skateboard plateform, which serves as the foundation for two electric sub-brands namely, ‘XUV.e and BE’.

Mahindra will introduce all their electric vehicles under these two brands. Currently, company has confirmed the launch of Five electric SUVs named ” XUV.e8, XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09. The first four of these vehicles are scheduled to be launched between 2024 and 2025.

Mahindra XUV.e9 Features

The dimensions of Mahindra XUV.e9 are (4,790mm-1,905mm-1,690mm) with a wheelbase of 2,775mm. The front fascia features vertically stacked DRLs connected by a sleek horizontal strip, and the SUV exhibits a coupe-like sloping roofline and a panoramic sky roof. The rear is adorned with sleek LED taillights running across the boot lid, complemented by the twin peak logo in copper.

Inside, the XUV.e9 presents an uncluttered and futuristic dashboard layout, premium upholstery, and a head-up display. Safety features include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, ADAS, and L2+ autonomous driving capabilities.

The INGLO platform incorporates Blade and Prismatic batteries ranging from 60-80kWh, offering power output variations between 170-290kWh. The electric SUV can accelerate from zero to 100kmph in under six seconds. Additionally, the platform introduces AWD options and multiple drive modes.
