The Creta Facelift 2024: Exterior Design & Features
Hyundai has completely redesigned the Creta for its facelift, featuring a bolder upfront look with a larger grille. Similar to other modern SUVs, the Creta facelift now includes connected LED DRLs on top and LED headlamps below. The bumpers have been revised to provide the SUV with a fresher appearance. The side profile remains largely unchanged, except for the addition of new alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV showcases a new design with connected LED tail lamps and updated bumpers. The Hyundai Creta facelift offers color options such as Ranger Khaki, Titan Gray Metallic, Fiery Red Pearl, Robust Emerald Pearl, Atlas White, and Abbys Black Pearl. Additionally, a dual-tone option is available with Atlas White body paint and a Black roof.
The Hyundai Creta Facelift: Interior Design & Features
Regarding the interior, the Creta facelift undergoes a significant design overhaul, featuring an entirely new dashboard dominated by a twin-screen setup. Like the Seltos, the facelifted Creta adopts a single panel housing two screens – a 10.25-inch touchscreen system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Despite these changes, Hyundai has maintained the inclusion of physical buttons for media and climate control.
The Hyundai Creta Facelift: Safety Features
When it comes to features, the Creta continues to impress. Comfort and convenience features include a powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, onboard air purifier, electronic parking brake, two-step adjustable rear seat backrest, pillows for the rear seat headrests, and rear sunshades. The tech suite is equally impressive. The 10.25-inch digital display is crisp and easy to refer to; the touchscreen is slick (and supports 12 regional languages); the new 360-degree camera is a boon, and the Bose sound system is impressive in its own right. Also part of the package is connected tech that brings multiple features, such as a new Jio Saavn music streaming app. You can also remotely keep an eye on your car using the eSIM-based setup.
The new Creta also undergoes safety upgrades. Six airbags are standard across the board, and higher-spec models also get radar and camera-based ADAS. The suite of 19 ADAS functions includes features such as auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane-keep assist, and more. Aside from the tech enhancements, Hyundai claims the body shell has been reinforced at critical points for enhanced crash protection. The 2024 Creta complies with India’s latest crash test norms and will be rated by Bharat NCAP in the coming months.
Engine Specifications:
The only significant mechanical change on the Creta facelift is the new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, replacing the discontinued 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. This new engine is only available paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol, and diesel engines remain unchanged, offering their respective manual and automatic gearbox options.
