Porsche Macan EV : Starts bookings in india.

Porsche india has started bookings for the Macan turbo while, the company doesn’t reveal its prices. The Macan EV has been launched in Singapore with 02 variants – 408hp Macan 4 and 639hp Macan turbo .

The Macan EV is the all-new electric car, starting prices at Rs. 1.65 crore (ex-showroom) in Singapore. Scheduled for release in 2024, the Macan EV will boast a distinctive design compared to its predecessor, which has yet to be unveiled by the brand in its final production form. It will be constructed on the Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) and will utilize an 800-volt architecture. Upon its debut, it will become the first electric vehicle in Porsche’s lineup to be offered alongside its internal combustion engine counterpart.

Although Porsche has not yet fully unveiled the appearance of the Macan EV, the prototype provides insights into certain styling elements. These include newly designed daytime running lights (DRLs) and a redesigned bumper featuring horizontal slats for the headlights. The taillights extend across the rear section, aligning with the design language of Porsche’s newer models. It remains unclear whether Porsche intends to introduce a completely redesigned version of the internal combustion engine model with similar design elements.

As for interior layout, it includes a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.9-inch central infotainment displays, and an optional passenger side display. Unlike the Taycan, which features a touchscreen panel for climate control, the Macan EV retains button controls for this function. One notable feature of the electric SUV’s cabin is the inclusion of an all-new Augmented Reality (AR) Head Up Display, likely available as an optional extra.
