Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 was launched on Monday as a bobber bike based on ‘SG650 Concept’. The first bobber bike, named EICMA and based on SG650 concept, debute in November 2021. Now in 2024, the ‘Shotgun 650’ marks the forth bike of this concept.
It has been launched in 03 variants with 04 liveries. Depending on its 03 variants- “Custom shed, Custom Pro and Custom Special”, the prices start from RS. 3.59 lakhs to Rs. 3.73 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The company presents the Shotgun 650 with four color options: Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Sheet metal Grey. Bookings have started since Monday and the motorcycle will hit stores on February 15, with deliveries scheduled to commence in March.

Differences between ‘Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor Bike
This bike is an all-new offering from Royal Enfield, resembling the Super Meteor bike. Numerous designs and accessories match, creating a resemblance to the Super Meteor, but with some alterations. Changes include smaller Wheels and Fuel tank, Reduced hight and travel of Rear Suspension, Wheel base and Wight compared to the Super Meteor Bike.
However, the seat hight is higher. Many elements remains the same such as ‘Engine, Gear and Console.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650: Features
The Shotgun 650 utilizes the identical 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 46.6 bhp at 7250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In terms of its components, the motorcycle features a Showa upside-down fork setup at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear for suspension. Braking is facilitated by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS. The Shotgun 650 is equipped with an 18/17-inch (front/rear) alloy wheel configuration.

Let’s talk about Shotgun 650 Specifications with Super Meteor
Starting from the front, It has features a front tyre size of (100/90-18″) and a rear tyre size of (150/70-17″). It comes with alloy wheels and disc brakes. The bike is equipped with a ‘up-side-down-fork of Showa suspension’, with the travel time similar to Super Meteor. However , the travel time of rear suspension ( twin-coiled over shocks) has been reduced.
This bike includes a spherical LED headlight and two halogens type side lights. The engine remains the same at 648cc, with the identical power figures as the Super Meteor. Notably, all panels and components, from front to rear, are metel except for the seats.
An interesting features is the easy removal of back seat, along with the option to customize the main seat in different colors or designs.
