Mahindra Thar 5-door, Exterior and Interior Features
Exterior : The Thar 5-door will feature a fresh grille and bumper design, incorporating fog lamps. High-end models will showcase complete LED lighting, encompassing headlamps, front fender side indicators, and fog lamps. The tail-lamps will also adopt LED units, differing slightly from the Thar 3-door.
Customers will enjoy a variety of options for wheels and tires. The premium models will be equipped with 19-inch diamond-cut alloys, while certain mid-range variants will feature more straightforward alloy wheels. Entry-level configurations, as per sources, will be furnished with steel wheels. Additionally, the Thar 5-door is set to include a rear wiper setup and a remote fuel-filling cap opening option, both notable additions to enhance the Thar’s feature list, which were absent in the Thar 3-door.
Interior : The Thar 5-door distinguishes itself from the Thar 3-door with several enhancements. The dashboard offers single-tone and dual-tone choices based on the variant. Specifically, the centre console has been adjusted to accommodate a larger infotainment screen in the new Thar 5-door. Featuring two 10.25-inch full digital screens.
The Thar 5-door Safety features
Added features in the Thar 5-door encompass a push-button start, front and rear center armrests, leatherette seat upholstery, a sunroof, and rear AC vents, among other comforts. While maintaining its 5-seat configuration like the 3-door Thar, there’s no indication of the Thar 5-door gaining a third row of seats.
The Thar 3-door features dual front airbags and rear drum brakes; however, the Thar 5-door will be equipped with six airbags and rear wheel disc brakes. It is likely to include front parking sensors and a dashcam, though confirmation is pending for ADAS or a 360-degree camera setup.
